What to do in an out of hours emergency
If you pet needs veterinary attention outside normal working hours you deserve to receive the same professional and prompt attention that we hope you receive from us during regular hours. However, even the best vet in the world cannot be personally available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without it significantly affecting their clinical skills and judgement and therefore patient care.
Nevertheless – it remains our priority to ensure that you and your pet can access high-quality veterinary care no matter what the time of day or night.
However, if you do have an emergency outside of our normal opening hours there is always a vet on call – just for advice or reassurance or so that your animal can be seen if this is best. In the first case please call your surgery’s usual number.
