Alex Bennett

Alex is a nurse at our Westbury park branch, she works part time with us and part time for a charity as a volunteer co-ordinator.  She enjoys being able to help animals and humans all in one week! 

As it's a small team at Westbury Park Alex does a mix of surgical and hospital nursing as well as reception work including processing insurance forms and account keeping.  Alex is a dual citizen of Australia and qualified there as a Veterinary Nurse ten years ago before moving back to the UK.  She has worked at Animal House Vets for 6 years now and has just bought a flat in Shirehampton. 

She is passionate about mental health and last year qualified with St John's Ambulance as a mental health workplace responder in order to help her colleagues if needed.  In her spare time she loves volunteering, exercising, camping and watching live music.
